Beginner Frisian: A Simple and Direct Language Learning App
Beginner Frisian is an Android application developed by shotgun.experiments and falls under the Education & Reference category. As the name suggests, it is an introductory app for beginners and enthusiasts who want to learn the Frisian language.
The app follows the concept of "a word a day" and provides up to 12 words a day of the user's choice. Once a word is learned, it is tested repeatedly on a decreasing regularity basis. If answered correctly, the app adjusts to test the user less frequently as they become more familiar with the word. Conversely, if answered incorrectly, the app will test the user more on the word or deactivate it while focusing on other words.
